Hi, I'm Star!

I'm a 20-something foodie with an appetite for travel bigger than my budget. When I'm not traveling, you'll find me in Chicago. I'm a fledgling photographer who specializes in photos of the back of my lens cap (don't worry, I haven't quit my day job).

I started this blog after getting so many requests to share my travel plans with friends and family. They know I'm the person to ask because they have seen me obsessively compile trip binders with tickets, confirmations, and maps. I think I do this to positively channel my pre-trip jitters but I am so excited for my research to have a second life helping others along their way!
